We are looking for bright and energetic enterprise Java developers who can continue to help CloudPrime innovate and become a leader in enterprise-grade messaging services including our newly launched mobile offering for iOS, QuickDrop. We seek individuals with a desire to improve the security of private data in the cloud (bank statements, health records, mortgage docs, wills, taxes, intellectual property, code, graphic design) and who are looking to work with a team of experienced and successful Silicon Valley veterans.

Mobile App Developer
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility to become a permanent member of the team. Our offices are located in San Francisco in the SOMA district with easy access to many forms of public transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. The candidate will design and implement new software to satisfy complex business requirements and use cases. All software produced is expected to meet company standards for correctness, usability, maintainability, and aesthetics.
  2. The candidate will maintain existing software, including isolating and correcting defects, refactoring substandard code, extending functionality, and documenting existing software.
  3. Must be able to communicate and thrive in a team environment with product, marketing, sales and support interaction.
Minimum Qualifications
  • The on-site professional is required to have a Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • 4+ years of computer programming experience in a professional context.
  • 2 years working with JAVA development
  • 2 years working with iOS , Objective-C and Cocoa
  • Experience with Apple frameworks like AddressBook, StoreKit, CoreData, Security, libxml2, and CommonCrypto.
  • Must be able to perform the complete system life cycle phases from project initiation, analysis and requirements, design, coding, testing and implementation.
  • Must be able to design and build systems that are integrated with other client systems.
  • Must be able to develop system documentation, coordinate tasks with the development team and other support groups to complete the project.
  • Experience developing software in a professional context.
  • Strong ability to work with SQL databases, and integrate them with other systems.
  • Strong ability to develop rich Internet applications using Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Ability to learn and master unfamiliar technologies.
  • Ability to understand and work with industry standards and specifications.
  • Competent in all stages of the software lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Competent in the principles of revision management, including tagging, and branching.
  • Comfortable coordinating activities with teammates, as well as working in a self-directed manner.
  • Comfortable with a rapid, lightweight, agile development process.

Java Developer

  • Familiarity with Java Web Services (JWS), the Java API for XML Binding (JAXB), and the Java Security APIs.
  • General understanding of public-key cryptography / asymmetric encryption, symmetric encryption, XML, XSLT, SOAP Web Services.

To be considered candidates should have experience with the following:
  • Recent hands on experience with WebSphere Java.
  • Experience using Maven, Subversion and Eclipse (or equivalent)
  • Advanced computer programming skills in J2EE development in Oracle 10g+ and DB2, in a Unix/LINUX environment.
  • Strong hands-on development experience working with WebSphere JAVA, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Strong UNIX skills and shell scripting and ORACLE tools (sqlloader, export, import).
  • Experience with full life-cycle software applications development (i.e., design, construction, testing, and implementation).
  • Experience with requirements definition and specifications design creating conceptual, logical and physical design using case models, class models, component models, and physical models.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor team members in object development.
  • Ability to mentor project developers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage work assignments across a team of developers.
  • Experience with code versioning and change management concepts.
